Heartsure Private GP & Care Coordination

Heartsure offers private remote GP consultations with Dr Catherine Millington-Sanders, for
adults aged 18 and over across Kingston, Richmond, South West London and Surrey.

Appointments are by telephone or video and are designed to give you timely access to careful,
experienced GP support — with time to listen, clear advice, and joined-up care planning. This
service is a helpful first step for selected problems that are suitable for remote assessment,
including some new symptoms, ongoing concerns, medication advice, second opinions and
more complex care coordination.
We focus on understanding the full picture and helping you
move forward with confidence.

Where tests, examination, or specialist input are needed, we help coordinate the most
appropriate next step — whether that is diagnostic testing at Heartsure, face-to-face assessment, or onward referral to the right specialist or service.
If your problem is not suitable for remote assessment alone, we will explain this clearly and help direct you to the most
appropriate next step.

What we help with & How it works

We provide private GP consultations by telephone and video, focused on careful listening, thoughtful clinical assessment and practical next steps. This is a remote service for adults aged 18 and over, and not every problem can be assessed safely by telephone or video alone.

A remote consultation is often a helpful first step for:

  • Selected new symptoms, ongoing concerns, or flare-ups of long-term conditions, where appropriate for remote assessment

  • Medication advice and reviews

  • Second opinions

  • Mental health, wellbeing, or caregiver strain

  • Help understanding results, referrals, and treatment options

  • Support arranging investigations or specialist review where needed

Where clinically appropriate, we can also help coordinate:

  • Blood tests and relevant cardiovascular, lung, and weight management services in Kingston at Heartsure

  • Imaging or specialist tests outside Heartsure

  • Private referral letters and coordinated specialist input

  • Communication with your NHS GP or usual team, with your consent, to support continuity of care

If your problem is unlikely to be assessed safely remotely, we will explain this clearly and help direct you to the most appropriate next step. This may include face-to-face review, urgent assessment, diagnostic testing, or onward referral to the right specialist or service.

Where clinically appropriate, we can help identify and refer you to trusted and experienced specialists, either within Heartsure or outside Heartsure, depending on your needs, preferences and availability.

Why choose this service

Access to diagnostics in Kingston and wider services. Where clinically appropriate, we can offer diagnostic testing and specialist services at Heartsure clinic in Kingston. We can also arrange for services outside Heartsure, depending on your choice and clinical need.

Important information

This service is for adults aged 18 and over only.

This is a remote GP service. It is suitable for selected problems only and not every concern can
be assessed safely by telephone or video. If your symptoms suggest that you need urgent in-
person assessment, examination, or emergency treatment, we will explain this clearly and
advise the most appropriate next step.

If you have severe or rapidly worsening symptoms — such as severe chest pain, significant
breathing difficulty, stroke-like symptoms, collapse, severe abdominal pain, or heavy bleeding
— call 999 or attend A&E. For urgent advice out of hours, call NHS 111.

With your consent, relevant information can be shared with your NHS GP or usual clinical team
to support continuity of care. Your NHS GP registration remains unaffected.

Eligibility note

If you are a patient of The Groves Hinchley Wood NHS GP Practice, Dr Catherine Millington-
Sanders is unable to provide private consultations to you.
