Our Coronavirus Strategy

We recognise the fast moving and ever developing situation with the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and so our priority is to ensure that our patients and staff are safe. In order to do this, Heartsure will continue to adopt any relevant guidance from the UK Government, NHS England or Public Health England in ensuring the reduction of transmission of the virus. We continue to review and adapt the guidance to reflect the latest situation and guidance. Following this guidance, Heartsure has resumed seeing patients on a face to face basis, but the added precautions have been put in place for your safety:

• 'One Patient' - Our aim is to ensure that there is only one patient present in each clinical area at any given time. This will reduce the risk of transmission and ensure that there are no busy waiting rooms. To allow for this, please do not arrive to our clinic too early, and only enter the premises at your appointment time.

• Face Masks - At Heartsure, we will continue to allow patients and visitors to wear face coverings to their appointments to protect you and us. If you are exempt, please let us know at the time of booking so that we can ensure your safety in other ways when you visit.

• Unwell - We will send you a text message prior to your appointment to check and see if you are feeling well. If you feel unwell on the day of your visit (other than from your Cardiac condition) then please let us know as we may need to reschedule your appointment.

• Visitors - While we understand the importance of having family members present during consultations and tests, we aim to keep our clinic spaces as open as possible. For this reason, we ask that only ONE person accompany the patient to their appointment.

• Our Entry Conditions - All patients and visitors will have their temperature checked upon entry, and offered hand sanitiser. If you have a high temperature, or any other COVID symptoms, you will not be able to enter the clinic - this is for everyone's safety. If you have had a positive COVID test within the last 14 days, please let us know regardless of government advice on self-isolation.

• Our Clinicians, Staff and Clinic - Our promise to our patients is that our Clinicians and staff continue to undertake regular testing to ensure your safety. Our Clinicians will allow a buffer time between appointments to ensure that the room is cleaned before the next patient, again reducing the risk of transmission. We also ensure that all of our clinic rooms and patient areas are regularly cleaned.

Heartsure remains committed to keeping you safe during your visit. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch.
