A Bit About Me

Lucy Jensen is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with 18 years of experience in managing chronic disease. She began her career in Cardiology before moving into General Practice, where she developed a strong interest in health promotion and supporting patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory disease.

After completing her undergraduate degree, Lucy undertook her Nurse training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. She later gained a Masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, further enhancing her expertise. Today, she leads our medical weight loss service, helping patients improve their health and manage one of the key risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

With a background in both Cardiology and General Practice, she specialises in supporting patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory disease. At Heartsure, her focus is on promoting health, preventing illness, and helping patients reduce one of the key risk factors for cardiovascular disease through safe and effective weight management.

Lucy works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Esher Green Surgery, providing expert clinical care and support to patients. Her role includes managing long-term conditions, promoting preventative healthcare, and leading on complex case management.

Lead Nurse and Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Essex House Surgery

Lucy held a dual role as Lead Nurse and Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Essex House Surgery. During this time, she focused on managing chronic disease, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory conditions, while also leading on health promotion and patient education initiatives.
